Built in 1929, this 70-ton class F30 flat car with Bettendorf trucks was used in general service for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Pennsylvania was a large Class 1 railroad formed in 1846 and grew to be a predominant shipper on the east coast until 1968 when it merged with rival New York Central to form Penn Central.

The M4A3 Sherman tank was a game changer for Allied Forces during WW2. There were a number of basic variations and modifications, both from the factory and in the field, in an attempt to meet the growing power of Axis tanks and artillery. They were built in factories all over the US and in Canada and once war production started in earnest, using common designs and components put production into overdrive. Finished tanks were shipped via rail to strategic outposts and ports across North America. Almost every railroad had a hand in transporting strategic loads across the country, the Sherman being one of them.

M4 Sherman Tank Loads come unassembled and undecorated.
