The Terms and Conditions shown on this web site will always be the current version and supersede any others, printed or otherwise.

Prices

We charge in £Sterling. All prices include VAT where appropriate. We will deduct VAT for parcels sent to residents of non EU Country destinations. Due to fluctuations in exchange rates and shipping costs we only price goods at the time of receipt by ourselves. Prices are subject to change without notice, including any reduced prices and special offers which may be withdrawn at any time.

Guaranteed Discounts on Advance Reservations

If you order any product marked as an Advance Reservation on our web site we Guarantee that the price you pay will be 10% LESS than our final shelf price - NOT our guide price - once the items have been delivered. The final shelf price may of course be higher or lower than our GUIDE price depending on the exchange rate at the time the goods are delivered to us.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • If we are unable to obtain payment for the goods when processing your order for despatch, the order will be cancelled under advice. The Guaranteed Discount will be forfeited in these circumstances.
  • Only On-Line orders qualify.

 We manually adjust the total charge at the time of processing your order. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time. However,any Advance Reservations accepted by us whilst the offer is in force will have the discount applied even if the offer has been withdrawn by the time the models are delivered.

Payment/Order Processing

All major Credit and Debit cards accepted apart from Amex and Diners. We will not process your order unless you provide your payment details and all sections (required fields) of the order submission have been completed – this includes Advanced Reservations.

Delivery to an address other than the card billing address is at our discretion and extremely unlikely on first orders.

We only charge for the goods that we are sending at the time we are preparing your order for despatch. We do NOT send substitutes should goods not be available due to a stock level error. We will advise you as soon as practical if this has occurred, usually at the time of despatch. Orders are automatically CANCELLED, under notification to the customer, when card payments are declined for any reason, and the goods allocated under that order returned to stock and thus made available to other customers. Should this situation occur with Advance Reservations the Guaranteed discount will be forfeited. We do NOT hold goods unless they have been paid for.

Shipping and Packing

We charge £3.95 PER PARCEL/DESPATCH UK

All overseas at cost. (please see below for some examples of Overseas Shipping costs).

All Parcels are Insured by us as necessary and Require a Signature upon delivery irrespective of the method used. In view of this, we do not ship to P.O. Box addresses either in the UK or Overseas. Depending on the weight/size of the parcel, for UK destinations we use either Royal Mail (2nd Class Recorded) or Parcelforce 48Hour Service as we feel appropriate. For overseas destinations we will use the most appropriate method for the weight/size of the parcel. You will be advised of the delivery method used together with an indication of the delivery period as part of our despatch notification.

Customers can request alternative delivery means at their own expense (we may charge an additional administration fee depending on the circumstances).
Overseas Shipping Costs - The prices shown are an INDICATION rate for parcels up to 1kg with a maximum value of £100 to the Countries indicated. Many of our overseas customers combine orders with friends and fellow club members to save on shipping costs. MINIMUM charge for Overseas parcels is £3.95 as indicated on the order submission. We will manually adjust the charge to reflect the actual cost of shipping at the time of processing your order. You will be advised of the actual shipping charge as part of the despatch notification.

Delivery

For UK deliveries, we aim to despatch your order for in-stock items within 3 working days of receipt of your properly completed order, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.

We ask that you allow 14 days for delivery.

 

For deliveries outside of the UK, please add a further two working days to the despatch times mentioned above and allow up to 28 days for delivery.

As mentioned above, all parcels are insured by us should they go missing in transit. However, we will NOT issue replacement goods or provide a refund until the carrier has either located the goods or paid us under the insurance. This can take up to 12 weeks particularly for Overseas destinations. (sometimes longer)

Advance Reservations

Will be charged and despatched as soon as possible after delivery to ourselves from our suppliers. This may be a minimum 4-12 weeks after release of the model in the USA depending on when our next scheduled consolidated shipment is expected.

Although Advance Reservations may have been submitted on one order, the appropriate shipping charge will be added to each despatch/parcel in the event that they are not delivered to us at the same time, UNLESS you ask us to 'Charge and Hold' under advice. Advance Reservations can be cancelled at any time without penalty. Due to circumstances beyond our control, acceptance by us of an Advance Reservation does not guarantee delivery/release of the item(s). All release dates are as advised by the manufacturer/distributor and are a guide only.

Cancelling your order and Returning Goods

You can cancel your order within 7 days of receipt and return the goods by POST for a full refund. You will receive any refund within 30 days of receipt by us of the returned goods.

All goods to be returned MUST be notified to us within 7 working days of receipt by the customer, IN WRITING, by Post or email, and be received back by us within 14 days of your notification to return.
Other than Faulty goods, any returned items MUST be in the same condition as received and UNUSED and UNOPENED to enable them to be resold. This does NOT include installing, running or testing on your layout or similar.
Other than Faulty or Incorrect goods (where we have SENT the wrong item NOT where the customer has ORDERED the wrong item) the customer will be liable for the return postage.

We will NOT be liable for ANY returned goods lost in transit to ourselves.
If WE are paying for the return postage (for Faulty or Incorrect goods) you MUST check with us FIRST the method we want you to use. PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT pay for excessive/unnecessary postage should you choose to ignore this instruction.
ALL goods that are returned to us must be packed at least as good as we sent them to you. Damage to returned goods as a result of poor/inadequate packing will be reflected in the value of any refund/credit note or replacement goods.

In respect of replacement goods, irrespective of the reason, the customer will be liable for the postage (as per our normal tariff above) and any difference in price should higher value goods be selected.

General

When buying goods and services on the Internet you are entering into a legally binding contract. UK Law is the applicable Law for this web site. ALL orders submitted via this web site are accepted at our discretion. You can monitor the status of your Order or Advanced Reservations via the facilities available on this website.
