The actual train runs through the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, spanning two railway companies, the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, from Zermatt to St. Moritz, taking a leisurely 8 hours, and is popular as a panoramic tourist train that allows you to enjoy the majestic Alps from the train window. In 2019, the "Excellence Class", which is a higher class than the first class, was introduced, and changes have also been made to the conventional passenger cars
